Can parents challenge a local authority's EHCP decision?

Depending on the decision made, parents and young people may have options for challenging aspects of the EHCP process.

In this video, School of Diversity introduces EHCP disagreements, mediation and SEND Tribunal appeals and explains why evidence is central when challenging a decision.

Disputes may concern assessment decisions, the contents of an EHCP or the educational placement identified in the plan. School of Diversity provides practical support with EHCP refusals, mediation and tribunal preparation
