This video shows a twin AiCROV SP2 filling system built for Halliburton and installed since 2020 in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. It consists of two identical SP2 lines running in parallel, engineered in explosion-proof execution (ATEX for Europe, explosion-proof and IECEx worldwide) for highly flammable and explosive products.

The two lines are fully independent but share a common control system, so they behave exactly the same — one can fill drums while the other fills IBCs, or both can run the same container. An operator platform sits between the lines, working either the left or the right line from one position.

Each SP2 line fills 200 L drums and IBCs by net weight with an immersion nozzle — ideal for explosive products and for liquids that tend to foam. For safe filling of flammable products the line adds two key safety features: an electrostatic discharge clamp that removes any static charge from the metal container (preventing a spark during filling), and nitrogen inerting of the container interior before product is dosed, which further reduces any spark risk.

The infeed conveyor includes a manual pneumatic decapping tool for drums and IBCs; after filling, a pneumatic station screws the drum and IBC caps, and a pneumatic sealer applies a metal seal to the drums. Infeed and outfeed conveyors manage the entry and exit buffers.

Filling is two-speed (gross + fine) with ±0.1% net-weight accuracy. Manufactured in Europe — CE / UKCA. AiCROV is an engineering-led liquid filling machine manufacturer in Tarragona, near Barcelona (Spain), with customers on five continents.
